The following tips and
suggestions will make traveling with your pet safe and comfortable during the

The carrier
should allow your pet to sit or lie comfortably during the flight and line
the bottom with a soft towel, or some absorbent material.

Bring along a
favorite toy to give your pet a feeling of security.

Avoid feeding
your pet before the trip. A pet with an empty stomach is less likely to
become air sick.
|
|
Pack a mild
sedative to use in case your pet becomes distressed. Ask your
veterinarian for appropriate travel prescriptions.
